Arrive in Bangkok and set out on a city temple tour: marvel at the 5.5-ton solid gold Buddha at Wat Traimit, climb the 318 steps of Wat Saket (the Golden Mount) for panoramic views, and admire the Italian marble architecture of Wat Benchamabophit.
Day trip to Ayutthaya, the ancient Siamese capital. Explore the riverside temple complex of Wat Chai Watthanaram, see the famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots at Wat Mahathat, and the 37-metre Reclining Buddha at Wat Lokayasutharam.
A full day at Safari World and Marine Park: drive-through wildlife encounters plus orangutan, elephant, dolphin and sea lion shows. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River with views of Bangkok’s illuminated skyline.
Discover marine life at Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World, then take in the city from the King Power Mahanakhon sky walk. Ride a boat through the floating market, watch the Maeklong umbrella market retract as the train passes, and shop at MBK and Big C.
A free morning for last-minute shopping in Bangkok’s malls and markets before transferring to the airport for the flight home.
