Arrive in Chennai and travel to Tirupati, the temple town at the foot of the Tirumala hills. Overnight stay in Tirupati ahead of the darshan.

Day 02Tirumala darshan → ChennaiB/L/D

Ascend to Tirumala in the morning for darshan at the Sri Venkateswara Temple, where the powerful main idol of Lord Venkateswara is enshrined. After the temple visit, return to Chennai for the night.

A relaxed day exploring Chennai: the ancient Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Marina Beach, Santhome Church and the Government Museum, with time for shopping in the evening.
